Weather Situation:

A cold front and associated low pressure trough will cross the State today. A ridge of high pressure will follow on Friday but will contract northwards on Saturday as another front passes through Bass Strait. The ridge of high pressure will then become re-established over the State on Sunday, before contracting eastwards Sunday night as a low pressure system develops over the Bight.

Cloudy. Areas of rain, easing to isolated showers from the west this evening. Winds north to northwesterly averaging 30 to 40 km/h, reaching 45 km/h at times, tending south to southwesterly during the afternoon. Temperatures around 15 during the day.

Sunny. Light winds tending northerly up to 20 km/h later in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to around 5 with daytime temperatures reaching between 15 and 20.

Becoming cloudy. Isolated showers from midday. Winds northwesterly averaging 25 to 35 km/h tending west to southwesterly up to 20 km/h later in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to around 8 with daytime temperatures reaching between 16 and 21.

Partly cloudy. Isolated showers clearing early in the morning. Winds northwesterly averaging 10 to 20 km/h. Overnight temperatures falling to around 6 with daytime temperatures reaching around 19.
